Angie
Lindamood-Appointment/Financial CoordinatorAngie has been with Dr. Bassham since 2004, prior to that she worked for an Insurance Company for twenty years. Yes she is the oldest person on the team. She has known Dr. Bassham since she started practicing, she treated her son and to this day he has a beautiful smile. She loves to talk and meet new people, so this is the job for her. Outside the office she loves spending time with her husband David of 27 years and her 23 year old son Brack. She loves shopping, eating, and football! (highschool, college, and especially UT football!) She has been told by the rest of the team that she is OCD and type A-Go figure!
Vashti
Alford-Lab Technician/Clinical Assistant/Patient RecordsVashti has been working for the Bassham team since 2003. She recieved her dental training from the Wash. Co. Skill Center in 2003. She works in the lab making orthodontic appliances and trimming models. She went to Great Lakes Ortodontics in Tonawanda, NY in 2008, and received her certification in Intermediate Removable Appliance Fabrication, Advanced Appliance Fabrication, Soldering, Biostar, and Minstar. You will also see her assisting, patient records, and helping out around the office. She loves watching the transformation from a not so perfect smile to a perfect smile, and seeing how happy the patients are when they see the end result. Away from work, Vashti loves spending time with Trent at their new home and with their new baby Gabriel and son TJ. She also enjoys playing with her pets Salene, Puppy, Kit-Kat, and Gracie. She loves collecting butterflies, crocheting, and drawing.
Cora
Elmore-Clinical Assistant/Insurance CoordinatorCora was a patient with Dr. Bassham when she decided that this was the career she wanted to pursue. She loved coming to the office for her appointments, it was always a fun experience. She has been a part of the team since April 2005. Cora is crossed trained and enjoys working as a clinical assistant and receptionist. She also enjoys the challenge and structure needed to process and follow up on countless insurance claims that pass through the office. She loves interacting with all the patients and watching their smiles change. She looks forward to getting to know you and making this an exciting experience for you, as it was for her. Summer time is her favorite time. She loves the outdoors, whether it be riding motorcycles with her husband Jimmy, or riding bikes on the creeper trail. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family and friends.
Whitney
Scyphers-Clinical AssistantWhitney has been an orthodontic assistant since August 2006. She recieved her dental training from the Wash. Co. Skill Center in 2005, she is crossed trained and will be placing your brackets, appliances, and working with you throughout your treatment. She hopes that she can be helpful to you and your family in answering any questions you may have. She looks forward to meeting new people and is excited to be a part of helping you achieve the smile you have always wanted. Outside the office her hobbies include spending time with her husband, B.J. They had their first child, Brycen Reid, in December 2009 and he is the light of their life. She also loves spending time with her family and friends, and shopping!
Siri Davenport-Clinical Assistant/Receptionist/Director of New Patient Relations Siri was named after “The Goddess of Humor” in Norwegian Mythology. She says she’s no goddess however her sense of humor and positive attitude have been an addition to our office since July 2009. Siri loves people and enjoys being part of a team of orthodontic excellence. She lives in Damascus with her two sons Seth and Jared where they enjoy numerous outdoor activities together. She is engaged to a handsom man named Brett. They are in love and will be happily married in the near future.
Susan Roe-Clinical AssistantSusan's 13 years of orthodontic experience has given our office a depth of knowledge and her caring attitude has been an asset to our staff and a blessing to our patients. She received her dental training at the Washington County Skill Center and from there went to Northeast State, where she obtained an Associate's Degree in Science. We are fortunate to have Susan on our team. Away from the office she enjoys being a mother of four children and a wife to her husband Phillip. They love to go camping at the lake, water sports and being together with family and friends.
Nikki Nash-Clinical Assistant/ReceptionistAfter working in the banking field for the past 19 years, Nikki decided to join our orthodontic team as an assistant/receptionist in 2011. With her vast experience in public relations, Nikki has not only been an asset to our team, but also to our patients. Her bubbly personality, calm demeanor, knowledge, and maturity are all qualities she brings to our office daily. Nikki resides with her husband Jason and her beloved dog Chumlee. They enjoy spending family time together at antique car shows and get-togethers with their friends. She is excited about her new adventure with Dr. Bassham Orthodontics!
Sarahena Scardo-Clinical AssistantSarahena has four years orthodontic experience with our office. Prior to working for Dr. Bassham Sarahena was employed with a local bank for ten years. We are pleased to have Sarahena here with us because of her love of orthodontics. Sarahena received her training with the Washington County Skill Center and originally came to our office during her educational process. Around the office Sarahena is known for her constant patrol of plaque! She enjoys teaching our patients how important oral hygiene is. Sarahena only wants the best end result for our patients and good brushing habits are an essential aspect of achieving that beautiful smile. She loves making a difference in everyone’s life and feels that working here with our “family” allows her to achieve her goal of truly making a difference.
Away from the office Sarahena loves spending quality time with her husband, Brian, of twelve years. They both love being parents to their two beautiful children, Brady and Mallory.
